After a period of dormancy, Shape Web Designs is excited to announce its return to Western Michigan in 2025. Based in Grand Haven, Michigan, Shape Web Designs was originally founded in 2004 and quickly grew to a successful business, serving over 38 clients, including law firms, dentists, HVAC companies, and plumbing services. Robert Woonacott, the owner and driving force behind the company, also played a key role in developing Surf Grand Haven, a well-known local project.
In 2009, Robert expanded his reach by taking on Enerpulse, his first corporate client based in New Mexico, with the support of his close friend Dave Michels of Stationallity Media. This marked a significant milestone for Shape Web Designs, cementing its presence both locally and beyond.
However, in 2020, the business faced a major setback when Robert contracted COVID-19, which resulted in a 140-day hospitalization. The impact of this event was devastating, leading to the loss of nearly all his clients, with only five remaining loyal through the challenging times. Over the last four years, Robert has undergone a long recovery, relearning how to walk and gradually reentering the workforce.
Now, with a renewed vision and determination, Robert and Shape Web Designs are ready to make a strong comeback, focusing on delivering the same dedicated service to small businesses across the region. Stay tuned for more updates as the company prepares for its official relaunch in 2025.
